Email address: wonderfulduet@yahoo.com Alice is a guzheng enthusiast and runs the Alice gu-zheng ensemble. Alice learned gu zheng in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong & USA. She has been teaching gu-zheng (Chinese zither) class voluntarily in USA since 2000. Alice gu-zheng Ensemble, a non-profit organization, was founded in 2002 with both Alice Kan & her husband Kent as the instructors. This young group of more than forty gu-zheng (Chinese zither) enthusiasts has already held over thirty public performances in Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia. Among them are the Washington DC performance in the “Ode To Peace” International Culture and Art Festival held by Penglai City of China, the luncheon program in the National Summit of the US Department of Education, the Taste America 2006 at Capital Hill, and 2006 Annual Awards Gala of the International leadership Foundation.
